Contract Award: La Villita Electrical Panel Upgrade

SUMMARY:

An ordinance for the La Villita Electrical Panel Upgrade project, accepting the lowest responsive bid and awarding a construction contract including an additive alternate in the total amount of $240,341.20 to CRI Electric, Inc., an FY2017 Deferred Maintenance Program funded project located in Council District 1.

Project Background
La Villita Historic Arts Village is an art community in downtown San Antonio that houses art galleries, restaurants, and stores selling souvenirs, gifts, custom jewelry, and imported Mexican folk art. The La Villita Electrical Panel Upgrade construction is anticipated to begin January 2018 and estimated to be completed by March 2018.

This contract will be awarded in compliance with the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program. CRI Electric, Inc. is a small, minority, women-owned firm that will be self-performing the 24% Minority and/ or Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) subcontracting goa...
