Monthly Utility Briefing - San Antonio Water System (SAWS)
SUMMARY:
A monthly utility briefing will be conducted by SAWS relating to its 2012 Water Management Plan (WMP) assumptions and changes. In addition, SAWS will brief the Council regarding the process utilized to adopt impact fees related to its water and wastewater capital costs associated with new development.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
As part of the SAWS 2013 rate review, City Staff recommended that SAWS resume briefings to City Council every other month. The agenda would be managed by the City and would be focused on financial performance and key policy issues.
In this monthly utility briefing, SAWS will update the City Council on the following items:
1. 2012 Water Management Plan (WMP) assumptions and changes.
2. Process utilized to adopt water and wastewater impact fees.
