City Council Project Fund Allocation (CCPF)
SUMMARY:
This ordinance awards a CCPF grant allocation to San Antonio Sports in an amount not to exceed $32,443.42 for the Fit Family Challenge District 4 5K, and the District 6 Fitness 5K and $13,137.18 to the San Antonio Public Library Foundation to support special programming like traveling exhibitions, readings and discussions.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
City Council approved the repeal of the Human Development Services Fund (HDSF) and established the City Council Project Funds (CCPF) along with improvements to the program in December 2011.
Eligible Expenditure Categories include: Education, District/Community Events and Youth/Senior Activities. Restrictions and Exemptions for Expenditures include: Delegate agencies funded in whole or part by the City are ineligible for receiving CCPF assistance unless it is requested for a different program or service the agency operates, CCPF may not be awarded for operational support of City Departments; additional ineligible expenditures: gas and gift cards, alcohol, and the rental or purchase of livestock.
City Council approval is required for allocations exceeding $10,000 to an applicant for the same program, activity, events, good or service.
Council District 4 is approving an allocation in the amount of $17,662.55 for the District 4 Heroes 5K.
Council District 6 is approving an allocation in the amount of $14,780.87 for the District 6 Fitness 5K.
City Council is approving an allocation in the amount of $13,137.18 to the San Antonio Public Library Foundation to support special programming such as traveling exhibitions, readings and discussions. The allocation breakdown is in the chart below.
