Springvale Street & Eaglerock Street
SUMMARY:
Transportation & Capital Improvements (TCI) will provide a briefing on the Springvale Street & Eaglerock Street road improvements.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
TCI met with Council District 4 regarding the Springvale Street and Eaglerock Street road improvements on February 6, 2015. TCI worked to develop a cost estimate to construct and maintain an 1,100 foot concrete pavement on Lackland AFB. The new concrete roadway is proposed to be constructed behind the Springvale Subdivision, along the Lackland AFB perimeter, and leading to the construction project on Lackland AFB.
ISSUE:
This Project would provide for the construction of approximately 1,100 foot reinforced concrete access road that would be behind the Springvale Subdivision, along the Lackland AFB perimeter, and leading to the construction project on Lackland AFB. The project includes curbs and sidewalks to maintain existing pedestrian routes. TCI anticipates six months for design, which will be contingent upon securing available funding,three months for utility adjustments and four months for construction.
