Discussion and possible action on a request from Color Tone Paint, Inc., for a grant in an amount up to $5,000 for new equipment and building improvements.
SUMMARY:
Color Tone Paint, Inc., has applied for a $5,000 grant for interior renovations. The company established in 1978 by Mr. Mike Benitez, Jr. and four of his children is an automotive paint and supply company currently located at 619 Fredericksburg Rd, San Antonio, TX 78201. The building the business is located in is owned by Mr. Benitez.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
WDC staff has reviewed the application that was received on March 20, 2015.
Color Tone Paint, Inc., is proposing to use the grant to add a new air conditioning roof unit to the building to better cool the customer showroom and employee break room. The total project cost is $9,400. Evidence of matching dollars has been provided to the WDC.
The WDC Project Committee reviewed the application and recommended forwarding to the WDC Board of Directors for review and approval.
