Pre-K 4 SA Facility Improvement Projects
SUMMARY:
This item requests Board approval for facility improvement projects at the South and North Education Centers which amount to approximately $24,850.00 to be funded by $2.6 million in project funds which were approved during the March 3, 2015 Board meeting and have already funded approximately $48,000.00 of facility improvement projects for the Education Centers to date.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
During the March 3, 2015 meeting, the Board of Directors approved for Pre-K 4 SA to accept approximately $2.6 million in funds originally allocated to the construction of Pre-K 4 SA Education Centers which the program would utilize for additional facility improvement projects. Since then, Pre-K 4 SA has utilized the funding on the following facility improvement projects:

The Transportation and Capital Improvement Department (TCI) issued orders utilizing a City Council approved JOC contract with Con-Cor Inc. to complete the aforementioned facility improvement projects at the North and South Education Centers.
ISSUE:
Pre-K 4 SA requests approval for additional improvement projects which will exceed $50,000.00 in services from the City Council approved JOC contract with Con-Cor Inc. These projects include the following:
