SUMMARY:
The Committee will review the proposed schedule of meetings for the 2016 fiscal year and provide a recommendation to the Board.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
General
Section 2.05 of the organization bylaws states:
Regular meetings of the Board may be held on such dates and at such time and places as shall from time to time be determined by the Board ...
Traditionally, the Board has met on the last Wednesday of every other month, beginning in October. Meetings of the Board Committees are also coordinated around this schedule.
For fiscal year 2016, staff presents a schedule of quarterly meetings beginning in October 2016.
FISCAL IMPACT:
A reduction in staff preparation time and associated meeting costs.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
