As the result of the City of San Antonio’s 2012-2017 Bond Program, Mud Creek in District 10 has been identified as a public art opportunity. On March 10, 2016 PASA completed the process to update new additions to the public art pre-qualified roster. The artist selection panel convened to review the public art opportunity and artist qualifications, evaluated and scored a shortlist of artists, reviewed and discussed finalists, and selected a finalist to interview. On April 27, 2016 the artist selection panel interviewed and recommended pre-qualified artist Leticia Huerta for the District 10 Mud Creek public art opportunity. The San Antonio Arts Commission: Public Art Committee approved the panel recommendation of pre-qualified artist, Leticia Huerta, on May 3, 2016.
