SUMMARY:

Consideration of the following Resolution:

A Resolution authorizing to declare as surplus and sell a City-owned property described as Lot 34, New City Block 6075, University Health Subdivision in the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume 9532, Page 123, Deed and Plat Records of Bexar County, Texas known as 1033 Ada Street located in Council District 3.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The City of San Antonio is requesting to declare as surplus and sell an improved tract of City-owned real property known as 1033 Ada Street, in City Council District No. 3, as shown on Exhibit "A." The property is known as the Bob and Jean Billa Learning Center. The Department of Human Services has now deemed the site as surplus to its needs. The property has been canvassed to other City departments to determine if there may be another use for the property. The other City departments did not have a use for the property, therefore; the property has been deemed surplus to the City of San Antonio's needs. The property will be disposed in accordance with Chapter 253.014 of the Local Government Code.

ISSUE:

Consideration of a Resolution authorizing to declare as surplus and sell a City-owned property described of Lot 34, New City Block 6075, University Health Subdivision in the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, according to plat thereof recorded in Volume 9532, Page 123, Deed and Plat Records of Bexar County, Texas known as 1033 Ada Street located in Council District 3.
