Staff will update the committee on the current status of the Paint the Pews fundraising project and how it will be incorporated into this year’s Gala.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
General
The WDC received a donation of pews from a local developer in the process of demolishing a vacant church in order to construct a medical/office strip center on S. General McMullen Dr. near the Las Palmas Shopping Center.
The pews are to be converted into unique art pieces by local artists and sold at an auction to be held later.
