Building Signage Replacement
SUMMARY:
This item authorizes four Job Order Contracts to Con-Cor Inc. for a total amount not to exceed $275,000. These four Job Order Contracts will be funded through remaining capital improvement funds approved by the Pre-K 4 SA Board of Directors on March 3, 2015.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Pending Board approval of the redesigned logo and this item both being presented during the June 7, 2016 Board meeting, Pre-K 4 SA will begin design, fabrication, and installation of new building marquees and monument signage displaying the redesigned logo at each of the four Education Centers. The design, fabrication and installation of a new building marquee and monument signage at each Education Center will be executed through four Job Order Contracts with Con-Cor Inc. in a total amount not to exceed $275,000.
ISSUE:
This item authorizes four Job Order Contracts to Con-Cor Inc. for a total amount not to exceed $275,000 for the design, fabrication and installation of a new building marquee and monument signage at each Education Center. These four Job Order Contracts will be funded through the remaining capital improvement funds approved by the Pre-K 4 SA Board of Directors on March 3, 2015. Signage replacement is expected to begin July 2016 and be completed before the start of the new school year in August 2016.
Each of the four Education Centers will be improved with the following enhancements:
* Recycling of Existing Signage
* New Center Building Marquee Signage
* Building Marquee Signage for Professional Development and Corporate Offices
* New Center Monument Signage
* Removal and Replacement of Triangle, Circle, Square Building Signage
* Brooks City Base Marquee South Center Logo Replacement
