Appointments to the San Antonio Economic Development Corporation (3 Slots)
SUMMARY:
Reappointing Mike T. Dwyer, Juan A. Landa, and Marianne C. Watson to the San Antonio Economic Development Corporation for the remainder of unexpired terms of office to expire May 31, 2018.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Economic and Human Development City Council Committee convened on June 1, 2016 and provided recommendations for appointments to the San Antonio Economic Development Corporation for the remainder of unexpired terms of office to expire May 31, 2018.
ISSUE:
Board appointments require full City Council approval.
ALTERNATIVES:
The Office of the City Clerk will continue to advertise vacancies.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact.
RECOMMENDATION:
In order to proceed with the direction of the City Council, the Office of the City Clerk recommends approval of the Board Appointments.
