SUMMARY:

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The SA Tomorrow Multimodal Transportation Plan is one of three growth-related plans addressing how the City of San Antonio's expected population growth will be balanced with social, economic, and environmental resources. The Multimodal Plan will articulate the City's transportation strategy and serve as a roadmap to improving mobility and all modes of transportation up to the year 2040.

The Multimodal Transportation Plan is formed around the Transportation and Connectivity goals and policies in the Comprehensive Plan and provides a roadmap to transforming the City's current transportation system into one that is multimodal, sustainable, safe, convenient, and efficient.

ISSUE:

The Transportation and Capital Improvements Department will provide an in-depth briefing of the Draft Multimodal Transportation Plan process and components.
