SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Briefing for Construction Manager at Risk Services for Utilities Infrastructure at Hemisfair Civic Park

The Transportation and Capital Improvements Department will present a pre-solicitation briefing on the Construction Manager at Risk Services for Utilities Infrastructure at Hemisfair Civic Park Project, which was added to the Annual High Profile Report. This briefing will allow an opportunity for input and direction from Committee members.
This pre-solicitation briefing will cover estimated contract value, projected timeline, high profile designation, scope of the project, terms of the contract, audited financial statements, proposed scoring criteria, evaluation committee members, project considerations, local preference program applicability, veteran owned small business preference program applicability and SBEDA Program requirements.
The City is seeking to hire a firm to provide pre-construction and construction services through a Construction Manager at Risk delivery method for the construction of Utilities for Hemisfair Civic Park. The selected Respondent will work with the Project’s Design Consultant in the preparation of phasing documents. During the Project’s construction phase, all work shall be coordinated with TCI, HPARC and other entities involved with the approval of the work and Project delivery. This project is anticipated to be completed by March, 2018.
