SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Briefing for Construction Manager at Risk Services for the Terminal A/B Connector and Security Screening Checkpoint Expansion Project

The Transportation and Capital Improvements Department will present a pre-solicitation briefing on the Terminal A/B Connector and Security Screening Checkpoint Expansion Project which was identified in the Annual High Profile Report. This briefing will allow an opportunity for input and direction from Committee members.
This pre-solicitation briefing will cover estimated contract value, projected timeline, high profile designation, scope of the project, terms of the contract, audited financial statements, proposed scoring criteria, evaluation committee members, project considerations, local preference program applicability, veteran owned small business preference program applicability and SBEDA Program requirements.
The Terminal A/B Connector and Security Screening Checkpoint Expansion Project is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk to construct a facility that connects the concourses of Terminal "A" and Terminal "B" on the ticket level of the terminal buildings. The estimated total size of the facility is roughly 80,000 square feet. A portion of the project is comprised of roughly 25,000 square feet of area to house the security screening checkpoint and passenger processing function for patrons entering the concourse of Terminal "A."
