SUMMARY:
This ordinance will formally schedule a City Council Meeting on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 9:00 am.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The May 6, 2017 general election resulted in the need for a June 10, 2017 runoff election in several council districts, which will be canvassed on June 21, 2017.
Several new Council members will be sworn in on June 21, with their only meeting to be June 22 before the budget work session break from Council meetings begins in July. It is therefore necessary to schedule a special City Council meeting to consider items before the Council, before the break.

It is necessary to schedule the City Council Meeting.
