SUMMARY:
This item includes a briefing on current issues relevant to the work and charge of the Housing Commission as presented by the Director of the Neighborhood and Housing Services Department. It will include an update on the newly-formed Mayor’s Housing Policy Task Force, established by Mayor Nirenberg on August 18, 2017. No action will be required by the Housing Commission as a result of discussions pertaining to this item.

RECOMMENDATION:
The Housing Commission will hear from the Neighborhood and Housing Services Director on current issues and the Mayor’s Housing Policy Task Force. At this time, the Director also will take questions from Commission members.
