Discussion and Possible Action regarding Broadway Underpass Funding Agreement
SUMMARY:
Developer: City of San Antonio (CCDO)
Project: 180 space public parking with public use green space and a walking trail to facilitate connectivity between the east and west sides of Broadway.
Requested Funding Use: Design, construction, assembly, installation and implementation of public parking, walkways, trails, public art, and planting areas, including but not limited to street curbing, sidewalks, street lighting, landscaping, low impact development features to treat storm-water runoff prior to discharge into the San Antonio River along the Museum Reach and other necessary improvements.

Project Value: $1.3M
Approved Funding: $250,000.00
On November 13, 2015, the Board approved a Resolution authorizing the commitment of TIRZ funds from the Tax Increment Fund.
On June 22, 2017, project funding agreement was approved by City Ordinance. Project is now in the pre-construction/permitting phase.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this item.
