This item includes a staff briefing of Professional Learning endeavors in 2017-18.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On January 2, 2017, Larrisa Wilkinson joined the organization as the new Director of Professional Learning and Program Innovation. Staff have spent the last year evaluating the structure and effectiveness of the Professional Learning division and have developed improvements for professional learning opportunities offered for the 2017-2018 school year. This presentation will include a briefing of the division’s realignment to the growing response to high quality professional learning for early childhood education throughout the city.
