SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Briefing for 1305 Workers’ Compensation Health Care Network Services

The Office of Risk Management will present a pre-solicitation briefing on the 1305 Workers’ Compensation Health Care Network which was presented in the Annual High Profile Report. This briefing will allow an opportunity for input and direction from Committee members.
This pre-solicitation briefing will cover estimated contract value, projected timeline, high profile designation, scope of the project, terms of the contract, proposed scoring criteria, evaluation committee members, project considerations, local preference program applicability, veteran owned small business preference program applicability and SBEDA Program requirements.
The Office of Risk Management is seeking to contract with a vendor to manage a panel of medical providers and specialists in accordance with the Texas Department of Insurance. In addition, the selected vendor will provide notification of network requirements to City employees and ensure access to medical care in all medical specialty areas.
