The land use designation will create a consistent designation throughout the entire property. The request is consistent with Plan Goal 2.1 which is to establish a land use pattern that is responsive to the existing context and is founded upon realistic market expectations. A large majority of the surrounding uses include industrial, so the request is not out of character for the area.
