SUBJECT:                     Pre-Solicitation Briefing for Rental and Homeownership Housing Development

The Neighborhood and Housing Services Department (NHSD) will present a pre-solicitation briefing for Rental and Homeownership Housing Development. This briefing will allow an opportunity for input from Committee members.

This pre-solicitation briefing will cover estimated contract value, projected timeline, high profile designation, scope of the project, terms of the contract, proposed scoring criteria, evaluation committee members and project considerations.

NHSD, in an effort to create and preserve affordable housing, will utilize CDBG and HOME funds to support affordable housing development through acquisition, rehabilitation, clearance, site improvements and neighborhood infrastructure. Outcomes will include acquisition, rehabilitation, resale or new construction homeownership housing and acquisition rehabilitation or new construction rental housing.
