The following high profile solicitation is scheduled to be released within the next month:

SAPD Concealable Body Armor - The City of San Antonio is soliciting offers for concealable body armor to be utilized by the San Antonio, Aviation and Park Police Departments for the protection of uniformed police personnel. The evaluation process will include ballistics and wear testing over a six month period. Under the current collective bargaining agreement, members of the Labor Relations Committee are the sole evaluators responsible for the selection of all equipment to be used by uniformed police personnel.
