SUMMARY:
This item includes a briefing of program and operational activities.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The CEO Update will provide information on various program activities.
• Professional Learning -This item will include an update on the Early Education Leadership series Pre-K 4 SA is providing to school and district leaders.
• Family Engagement - The inaugural 4K for Pre-K event kicked off the Pre-K 4 SA Family Fit program on Saturday, October 6. This item will include a summary of the event.
• Outdoor Learning Symposium - This will include a debrief of the Lawson Foundation Outdoor Play and Early Learning Policy Research Invitational Symposium in Ontario, Canada.
• Outreach and Promotion - Pre-K 4 SA staff have participated in events to promote the program and advance early learning in San Antonio. This item will review those events and outline upcoming speaking engagements.
• Research Review and Approval Process - Staff has further defined the review and approval process for external research requests. This will include an update.
