BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The proposed property donation will be utilized for the future development of Timber Ridge Park as a neighborhood park in Council District 6. The nearest public park to this neighborhood is over one and a half miles away, and is not accessible by foot to the residents of the Timber Ridge neighborhood. The donated property will be developed using $550,000.00 in funding allocated in the approved FY 2019 Capital Budget.
