SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Briefing for the Engineering Design Services for Broadway Street (IH-35 to E. Mulberry Avenue)

Transportation & Capital Improvements (TCI) will present a pre-solicitation briefing on the Request for Qualifications for the Engineering Design Services for Broadway Street (IH-35 to E. Mulberry Avenue), which was included in the Annual High Profile Report. This briefing will allow an opportunity for input and direction from Committee members.
This pre-solicitation briefing will cover the solicitation type, estimated contract value, scope of the project, proposed scoring criteria, SBEDA Program requirements, evaluation committee members, and solicitation timeline.
The Broadway Street Corridor is a 2017 Bond Program project approved by voters on May 6, 2017. The Engineering Design Services for Broadway Street (IH-35 to E. Mulberry Avenue) shall include roadway, drainage and utility design and plans; traffic engineering; and landscape architectural design; utility coordination to include conflict resolution management of existing utility infrastructure with proposed roadway, drainage, and utility improvements; and engineering calculations, findings and recommendations.
