CEO Update

 

 

SUMMARY:

 

This item includes a briefing of program and operational activities.

 

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

 

The CEO Update will provide information on various program activities.

                     November Meeting Debrief - A short briefing of key topics from the November Board meeting will be presented.

                     1882 Partnerships -This item will include a status update on a potential SB 1882 partnership between Pre-K 4 SA and Edgewood ISD.

                     December Capital Projects Timeline -Capital Projects to improve facility use and safety are scheduled to be completed during the winter break that lasts from December 24 through January 4.

                     Enrollment Timeline - The Alumni and Pre-K 4 SA staff priority application period lasts from December 1 - 14. The application will open to the public on February 1.

                     Outreach and Promotion - Pre-K 4 SA continues to host wellness events for the new Family Fit program and to welcome other organizations to visit the Education Centers.

                     2019 Board Meeting Preview - The Board will next convene in January for a strategic planning session. This item will include an overview of key topics for February - June 2019 meetings.
