At-Large Appointments to the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority (2 Slots)
SUMMARY:
Reappointing Amanda Merck and Ezra Johnson to the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority for a two-year term of office to commence January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2020.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Governance City Council Committee convened on December 5, 2018 and recommended that Amanda Merck and Ezra Johnson be reappointed to the VIA Metropolitan Transit Authority.
ISSUE:
Board appointments require full City Council approval.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact
RECOMMENDATION:
In order to proceed with the direction of the Governance City Council Committee, the Office of the City Clerk recommends approval of the Board Appointments.
