Staff sent the updated goals and priorities to the Commission via electronic correspondence to receive additional input.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The charge of the new Housing Commission will be to serve as a public oversight body to guide the implementation of the Mayor's Housing Policy Task Force (MHPTF) report recommendations and engage the public.
During the February 22, 2019 meeting, the Housing Commission discussed their goals and priorities for Fiscal Year 2019 (October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020). The goals and priorities were presented to the Housing Commission for review during the March 27, 2019 Housing Commission meeting and revisions were suggested. Neighborhood and Housing Services (NHSD) staff updated the goals and priorities utilizing feedback from the Commission.
