SUBJECT: High Profile Procurement Process Recommendations

The Finance Department will provide a briefing on proposed changes to the current High Profile Procurement Process.
Based upon recent feedback, staff is recommending the following revisions to the High Profile Procurement Process:
• Establish B Session Briefings for Select High Profile Projects
• Bi-Annual High Profile Forecast to Council in B Session
• Include Initial and Final Score Matrices in Post-Solicitation presentations
• Display Respondent Names in Score Matrices
• Increase standard solicitation advertising period from 30 to 45 days
The proposed changes will not impact the City’s Ethics code, Restrictions on Communication, Prohibited Political Contribution period or current reporting provided to Mayor, City Council, City staff or the public.
