2017 Bond Program Pedestrian Mobility & Streets Task Order Contract Package 4
SUMMARY:
An ordinance accepting the lowest responsive bid and awarding a task order contract to F.D. Concrete, LLC for the 2017 Bond Program Pedestrian Mobility & Streets Projects Package 4 in the amount not to exceed $2,887,777.50, of which $112,917.00 will be reimbursed by San Antonio Water System (SAWS) for necessary adjustments to its existing infrastructure.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On May 6, 2017, voters approved the 2017-2022 Bond Program, which authorized $48 million for Pedestrian Mobility & Street improvement projects in Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 9. These contracts will be utilized to complete sidewalks to accomplish the project scope. Projects are being identified and selected through coordination with TCI staff and respective Council District offices.

Procurement of Services
This contract was advertised for construction bids in March 2019 in the San Antonio Hart Beat, on the City's website, on the Texas Electronic State Business Daily, on CIVCAST electronic bidding site and on TVSA. Bids were due on April 2019.
