SUBJECT: High Profile Procurement Process Revisions

The Finance Department will provide a follow-up briefing on proposed revisions to the current High Profile Procurement Process.
These proposed process revisions change the way high profile projects are communicated to City Council and are designed to bring additional focus to those projects that have more significant community interest, policy impacts and/or financial implications. The proposed revisions do not modify the criteria used to define high profile solicitations or affect the application of the City’s preference programs.
The proposed changes will not impact the City’s Ethics code, Restrictions on Communication, Prohibited Political Contribution period or current reporting provided to Mayor, City Council City staff or the public.
