SUBJECT: Consideration of High Profile Solicitation for Release

The following high profile solicitation is scheduled to be released within the next month.
Terminal A Electrical System Expansion (TCI on behalf of Aviation) - The City of San Antonio is soliciting for electrical upgrades to be performed at Terminal A to allow for future expansion within the Terminal at the San Antonio International Airport. This project will allow for Terminal A to receive electrical system upgrades necessary to ensure adequate electrical power to the number of users in Terminal A. These upgrades will be comprised of a new grounding electrode conductor (GEC) system for safety upgrades and a reconfiguration of the vendor service entrance which will include the replacement of the existing switchboards, a new central uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system, coordination with CPS to replace the existing utility transformers, and finally an arc flash study to test the electrical system for safety reasons.
