The Equity Atlas and Matrix is an interactive tool that highlights demographic census data for San Antonio. Maps relating to basic demographic indicators such as race, income and language are published in a standard format that includes consistent methodologies as it relates to breaking points, census tract data, and thresholds.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, the City of San Antonio received Coronavirus Relief Funds to address certain health and economic issues as a result of the pandemic. City leadership developed the COVID-19 Recovery and Resiliency Plan, incorporating themes and priorities from various City reports and COVID-19 Community Action Workgroups.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The Equity Atlas and Matrix is one of the tools that City staff, community members, partners, and other decision makers can use to help ensure that they are making data-informed decisions addressing disparities across a variety of indicators. GIS maps are displayed by census tracts in an interactive platform.
