SUMMARY:
This item requests Board action to approve a purchase with Kickup, Inc. to provide the KickUp software platform to manage and assess professional development programs for a term of three (3) years in an amount not to exceed $142,387.00.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Pre-K 4 SA will be evaluating the city-wide impact of the organization's professional learning department. This year the organization is seeking to adopt a professional learning online platform to track specific data for the department.
The KickUp platform is comprised of two complementary modules ("Professional Learning" and "Professional Growth") that allow Pre-K 4 SA to manage professional learning programs and facilitate program and educator evaluation. Each module feeds a data analytics reporting engine so users can triangulate data from multiple sources to gain meaningful insights that power system-wide improvement.
In addition to the software, KickUp Client Success Managers (CSMs) provide integral services: from setting up customized forms and workflows to leading check-ins and data reviews. Every KickUp partner is paired with a designated Client Success Manager who ensures the platform is correctly configured to their organization's needs so that they can focus on what's important: translating insight into action.
