BACKGROUND:

The City of San Antonio currently operates Adaptive Traffic Signal systems on La Cantera Pkwy. between Fiesta Texas and The Rim (District 8). District 8 Councilman Manny Pelaez has requested the Public Works Department to brief on the results of this system, while also exploring how to expand this system to the Medical Center Innovation Zone to solve for identified traffic issues.
