SUBJECT: Consideration of High-Profile Solicitation for Release

The following high-profile solicitation is scheduled to be released next month.
On-Call Structural Engineering Services - Public Works Department will issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for On-Call Structural Engineering Services for firms to provide on-call or as needed professional structural engineering services related to departmental and citywide construction projects. The scope of work for these services may include, but are not limited to pre-design services, design services, construction phase services, project close-out and warranty follow-up services. The types of services may include assessment and evaluation of structural systems, design services for the project utilizing all information from the project schematic, perform necessary site visits and inspections to confirm the amount and quality of work, confirm compliance with contract documents for project close-out, inspect and verify delivery of all warranty information.
