During the Intergovernmental Relations Committee meeting, Government & Public Affairs (GPA) will provide an update on the 87th Texas Legislative Session. The update will include:

•                     Recap of Governor Abbott’s emergency items and House/Senate Committee Assignments

 

•                     Briefing of recent activity regarding the City’s top priorities; police reform, public health, broadband, and local decision making

 

•                     Summary of bills filed-to-date that are relevant to the City of San Antonio

 

To date, the Senate and House have filed over 2,200 bills.
