SUMMARY:

 

Director to report updates on Neighborhood and Housing Services Department Programs

 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

 

Each month the Director prepares a report on program updates directly affecting the Commission and its charge.

 

ISSUE:

Topics to be discussed are: (a) Staff responses to Commissioners' questions regarding Affordable Housing, the Mayor's Housing Policy Task Force, and the City's proposed Source of Income ordinance; (b) Housing Bond Updates; (c) Upcoming Meetings

 

a)                     Staff responses to Commissioners' questions regarding Affordable Housing, the Mayor's Housing Policy Task Force, and the City's proposed Source of Income ordinance;

During the February 24 meeting, Commissioners asked for seven (7) items to be addressed at a future meeting regarding Affordable Housing, Source of Income Discrimination.   Staff responses are included in this packet.

b)                     Housing Bond Update

Staff to provide update on the housing bond.

 

c)                     Upcoming Meetings

The next regular meeting will be held on April 28, 2021. The Annual Retreat is scheduled for April 7, 2021.
