SUBJECT: Consideration of Completed High-Profile Solicitation

The following high-profile project has completed the solicitation process. This item is presented to the Audit and Accountability committee for review prior to the full City Council for consideration.

Annual Contract for Natural Creekway Maintenance (Public Works) - The Public Works Department released a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (RFCSP) seeking a contractor to provide maintenance services to natural creekways along approximately 30 miles of Leon Creek and Salado Creek and 50 miles of tributaries located throughout the City. Services shall include, but are not limited to, control of non-native (invasive) vegetation, tree and brush trimming or removal, on-site mulching services, and debris removal and disposal. These services are to ensure that passage of storm water is allowed through the creekways while maintaining the integrity of the natural riparian environment.
