Request for Qualifications for CMR Services for Early Works Utilities Infrastructure HemisFair Civic Park Post-Solicitation Update

The Transportation & Capital Improvements Department will provide a post-solicitation briefing on Request for Qualifications for CMR Services for Early Works Utilities Infrastructure HemisFair Civic Park project, which was added as an individual item to the Annual High Profile Report.
City has selected one qualified firm that City feels has the experience in managing construction projects of similar size, scope and complexity and can effectively manage the challenges of a downtown construction project. The approximate ten (10) acre site will include future Public/Private Partnership developments on the edges of the park that will function seamlessly with Civic Park at the center, comprised of approximately seven (7) of the ten total acres. Civic Park will be the second round of development at HemisFair and will act as the centerpiece for supporting the goal of establishing a world-class urban park surrounded by a vibrant mixed-use neighborhood adding real value to all citizens of San Antonio.
A Request for Qualifications was released on August 24, 2016. This RFQ was advertised in the San Antonio Hart Beat, on the City's website and the Texas Electronic State Business Daily.
