SUMMARY:

This ordinance authorizes acceptance of a contract from Grande Truck Center to provide two replacement Sewer/Catch Basin Cleaning Trucks for the Transportation & Capital Improvement Department for a total cost of $736,448.00. Funding for this purchase is available from the FY 2019 Equipment Renewal and Replacement Fund (ERRF) budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Submitted for City Council consideration and action is the offer submitted by Grande Truck Center to provide the Transportation & Capital Improvement Department with two replacement sewer/catch basin cleaning trucks for a total cost of $736,448.00. All units are covered by a minimum 12 months warranty that will start on the day each unit is placed in service. The life expectancy for this equipment is 1...
